Overview

As an EMEA LV Switchgear Field Service Engineer, you will support installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Eaton LV equipment across the EMEA region. You will serve as the primary customer contact on site, ensuring safe, compliant execution of projects and coordinating with Project Management to meet timelines. You will develop RAMS, create SAT test plans, and perform LV testing and commissioning, including primary plant and functional switchgear tests. This role offers varied international travel, on-site leadership opportunities, and a focus on safety, technical excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Travel across the EMEA region to deliver commissioning, testing, maintenance, and SAT services for Eaton LV equipment
  • Act as primary on-site customer contact during installation projects
  • Prepare RAMS and arrange high-voltage/high-current testing
  • Develop and execute SAT test plans based on specs and drawings
  • Perform LV testing and commissioning, including primary plant and functional switchgear testing
  • Interpret electrical drawings and identify omissions or issues
  • Support project delivery with Project Management to meet timelines
  • Lead on-site activities when needed and coach other service engineers

Key requirements

  • Electrical qualifications with solid theoretical and practical knowledge of LV distribution systems (switchgear)
  • Strong LV testing, commissioning, and customer witness testing
  • Ability to work independently, lead when needed, and collaborate in a team
  • Flexibility to travel and stay away across the EMEA region
  • Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
