Overview

In this Principal Technical Program Manager role, you will lead high-impact live streaming programs for Prime Video’s Living Room, including exclusive sports coverage. You’ll own delivery of the Sye streaming protocol roadmap and drive new features that improve global, low-latency streams to devices. You collaborate with engineers, designers, and partners across teams to shape streaming capabilities and customer experience. This role offers influence on product-defined strategy and the chance to impact how viewers consume video at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver high-impact live streaming programs for Prime Video Live Streaming (sports)
  • Drive execution of the Sye protocol roadmap with fast latency from field to device
  • Influence roadmap, define new features, and advocate for customer needs
  • Partner across cross-functional teams to align strategy and delivery
  • Own scheduling, release planning, and program governance
  • Mentor and lead teams of engineers and product partners
  • Shape strategic initiatives that scale globally across 240+ countries

Key requirements

  • Experience in technical product or program management
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and release coordination
  • Experience in architectural or system design independent of an architect
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and working with engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience managing complex technology projects (preferred)
  • Experience in software development (preferred)
  • Experience in TV networks, broadcasters, or online streaming platforms with digital video delivery knowledge (preferred)
