Overview
In this role you drive sustainability operations across a regional portfolio, blending programme management with data analytics to turn sustainability requirements into BAU delivery. You collaborate with IFM, D&C, and engineering teams to govern carbon, energy, water, and waste initiatives and report on progress to clients. You will work across multiple workstreams, translating data into actionable improvements and ensuring client commitments are met. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a clear impact on decarbonisation efforts.

Responsibilities
- Programme management: coordinate biweekly project calls, track plan progress, and manage stakeholder engagement across carbon, energy, water, and waste programmes
- Carbon/energy programme coordination: support ECM implementation, manage technical packages, track carbon projects and M&V coordination
- Data & analytics: interpret performance metrics, support dashboards, EU benchmarking, oversee utility data
- FM operations interface: liaison with IFM, site engagement, issue resolution and delivery follow-ups
- Reporting & governance: support OP submissions, client updates, governance metrics and ESG documentation
- Stakeholder engagement: biweekly touches with programme leads, regional IFM teams, and vendors
- Waste/soft services data analytics and reporting: track KPIs and provide progress updates
- Programme coordination & delivery: prioritise activities, maintain trackers and risk registers, ensure deliverables with engineering and D&C teams
- Site-level activities alignment: collaborate with regional IFM to align with client sustainability goals, escalate blockers
- Full lifecycle support: manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies across programmes
- OP activities and deliverables: technical package support, decarbonisation glidepath submissions, waste reporting and client-facing updates
- Site-level delivery and problem-solving: leverage client tools and internal tools for better outcomes
Key requirements
- University degree in engineering, environmental science, energy management, or related discipline
- 2–4 years’ experience in sustainability operations, energy management, or carbon programme delivery
- Programme/project management capability with multi-workstream coordination
- Data literacy: interpreting performance data, utility metrics, benchmarking outputs
- Experience with FM or IFM teams
- Strong stakeholder communication with senior clients
