Overview
In this role you will lead contracts delivery across Scotland for major MEP, healthcare and infrastructure projects. You will balance safety, quality and commercial performance while building strong client and stakeholder relationships. You will shape contract strategies, mobilise resources and drive value, margin and growth across a varied project portfolio. This role offers flexible locations and exposure to high-profile hospital, building services and infrastructure programmes. Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of major contracts across Scotland portfolio
- Own projects from mobilisation to completion
- Manage client expectations and stakeholder engagement
- Develop contract strategies, business and delivery plans
- Ensure contracts, programmes, KPIs and service agreements are met
- Monitor financial performance including cost, margin, risk and profitability
- Secure and manage project resources
- Lead and develop project and delivery teams
- Collaborate with commercial, design, engineering, planning and construction teams
- Manage suppliers and complex supply-chain negotiations
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards
- Identify opportunities for improvement, value and growth
Key requirements
- Proven contracts management experience in construction, MEP building services or major infrastructure
- Healthcare or hospital project experience desired
- Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects and contracts
- Strong people management and leadership capability
- Strong commercial awareness including financial control, margin, risk, and profit
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with design, commercial, construction and supply-chain teams
- Strong negotiation and supplier management experience
- Ability to manage competing priorities with autonomy
- Confident communication, presentation and stakeholder influence
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland
