Overview
In this leadership role, you align cross-team priorities with the organization’s broader goals and set clear expectations and feedback loops. You will shape the long-term technical vision and roadmap for ML infrastructure, guiding strategy and architectures across teams. You’ll oversee system design and code reviews to solve ambiguous problems and drive multi-area ML initiatives. This role blends people leadership with high-impact technical leadership to enable scalable, ethical AI outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Set and communicate team priorities aligned to organizational goals
- Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams
- Set expectations with individuals based on level and role; provide coaching
- Meet regularly with individuals for performance and development discussions
- Develop long-term technical vision and roadmap within and beyond current teams
- Evolve roadmap to meet future infrastructure needs
- Oversee systems designs across the broader area and review code to solve ambiguous problems
- Drive technical project strategy and ML infrastructure optimization
- Oversee design and implementation of ML solutions across multiple specialized areas
Key requirements
- 8 years of experience in software development
- 5 years of people management / supervision
- 5 years in a technical leadership role overseeing projects
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
