Portfolio Analyst

Overview

As Pricing or Portfolio Analyst in the Delegated Authority team, you will drive profitable growth for our International Property portfolio. You’ll develop and maintain reporting tools, analyze product performance, and share insights with the Underwriting team to influence frontline decisions. You collaborate across the business to refine analytical approaches and ensure regulatory and company standards are upheld. This role blends data analysis with clear communication to shape product strategy and support market leadership at QBE.

Responsibilities

• Analyse portfolio and product performance metrics to align with business objectives
• Conduct segmental analyses to identify growth drivers and risks
• Collaborate across the business to gather data and communicate findings
• Own maintenance and development of reporting tools within the area
• Use advanced data manipulation to produce dashboards and ad-hoc reports for decision-making
• Ensure compliance with QBE standards, processes and regulatory requirements

Key requirements

• Experience analyzing large, complex datasets to inform decisions
• Insurance sector experience preferred, with exposure to pricing or data analytics for property
• Strong communication to present findings and influence stakeholders
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python and Alteryx
• Collaborative mindset across diverse business areas
