Overview
In this Finance Business Partner role, you will support profitable and sustainable growth by delivering dedicated financial planning and decision support aligned to strategic priorities. You will collaborate with multiple business centres, challenge assumptions, and recommend efficiency improvements to protect earnings. You’ll translate financial and non-financial data into insight to influence senior decisions and monitor project performance and governance. This is a globally oriented role that offers exposure to landmark projects and cross-functional collaboration. You will thrive in a role that values continuous improvement and learning.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accuracy, completeness and compliance of financial records (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, forecasts)
- Manage variance analysis between budgets, forecasts and actuals; investigate root causes and drive corrective actions
- Identify, assess and mitigate financial and commercial risks and opportunities; balance risk with return
- Use insight to challenge and influence business decisions to improve financial performance of projects and services
- Challenge and monitor project income, cost to complete, working capital and change control; participate in project reviews
- Ensure understanding and adherence to corporate financial governance and control
- Drive and respond to change within and outside the organisation
- Maintain the finance operating model
Key requirements
- Studying towards a full accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with expected completion within 3 years
- Understanding of finance business partnering and experience supporting multiple stakeholders
- Confident in communicating with stakeholders
