Overview

As a Senior Building Surveyor in Cushman & Wakefield’s London Building Consultancy, you will lead professional and project-driven workstreams for major investors and occupiers. You’ll grow technical expertise, own client relationships, and contribute to the development of our London offering. This role combines delivery of core Building Surveying services with opportunities to shape projects across the region and Europe. Responsibilities

  • Deliver core Building Surveying services: dilapidations (landlord & tenant), technical due diligence, contract administration & Employer’s Agent duties, planned preventative maintenance, reinstatement cost assessments, schedules of condition, building pathology and defect reporting
  • Manage and nurture client relationships across the portfolio
  • Support and mentor junior surveyors
  • Collaborate with colleagues across PDS, Valuation, Agency and Asset Services
  • Contribute to business development and wider team initiatives
  • Work on regional and pan-European projects as required

Key requirements

  • MRICS-qualified with relevant commercial consultancy experience
  • Strong grounding in core Building Surveying professional services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and client-facing skills
  • Highly organized with strong report writing capability
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to manage multiple instructions
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a positive team culture
  • Experience with investor, developer and occupier clients is desirable
