About The Role

Are you an experienced higher education professional with a passion for academic quality, governance, and continuous improvement?

Assistant Registrar

We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Faculty Assistant Registrar to play a key role in supporting the Faculty’s academic governance and quality assurance activities. Working closely with senior academic leaders and Professional Services colleagues, you will provide expert advice on academic regulations, oversee programme lifecycle processes, support student casework, and ensure the effective operation of Faculty committees.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the student experience, drive quality enhancement, and contribute to the strategic development of the Faculty.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading Faculty governance and committee administration
  • Providing expert guidance on academic regulations, quality assurance, and programme management
  • Supporting academic appeals, assessment offences, and student-related processes
  • Producing reports and analyses to support institutional quality and compliance requirements
  • Managing and developing the Faculty Taught Programmes Team
  • Working with academic and professional services colleagues to promote best practice and continuous improvement

About You

You will have significant experience in higher education administration, with a strong understanding of academic governance, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. You’ll be an excellent communicator, confident in working with senior stakeholders, and skilled at managing complex processes in a dynamic environment.
