Fund Finance Analyst | Private Markets | ACA

Company: 93 MGMT
Apply for the Fund Finance Analyst | Private Markets | ACA
Location: Bassishaw
Job Description:

93MGMT is working with a growing private markets investment manager with strategies spanning private equity, private debt and private credit.

They are looking to add a Fund Finance Analyst to their London team at a point where the platform is continuing to develop and the finance function is taking on greater responsibility.

This is a role for someone who wants to get close to the funds early. You will work directly with senior members of the finance team, build exposure across the full fund lifecycle and progressively take ownership of your own areas rather than sitting behind one part of the reporting process.

The role

  • Review quarterly fund reporting and outputs from third-party administrators
  • Take ownership of cash management, liquidity and forecasting
  • Coordinate capital activity and ongoing fund administration
  • Support financial statements, audit and year-end reporting
  • Produce analysis for senior finance and wider internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with administrators, auditors and external advisers
  • Strengthen reporting, controls and processes as the platform develops
  • Take on increasing responsibility for individual funds and workstreams

Who we’re looking for

There are two natural routes into the role:

  • Funds audit — recently qualified and auditing private equity, private debt, private credit or other alternative investment funds, now looking to make your first move into an investment manager
  • Fund accounting — already working as a Fund Accountant and looking for a role with more ownership, broader exposure and a clearer path towards managing funds yourself

You will ideally be ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified, with strong accounting fundamentals and a good understanding of private markets funds.

The attraction is simple: you join early enough to matter. The role gives you the technical grounding of fund finance, but also the opportunity to understand how the funds operate, work closely with senior people and build towards genuine fund ownership.
