Data Engineer

Data Engineer required for a long-term engagement with competitive rates, supporting the development and enhancement of data solutions. Hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite in the West Midlands, working primarily with Talend and Oracle RDS.

SC Clearance preferred; candidates with BPSS can start while SC is progressed.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Talend ETL jobs
• Develop Oracle SQL and DDL
• Enhance GitLab pipelines
• Investigate and resolve defects
• Support testing, production releases and warranty activities
• Create test data and component test packs
• Support performance testing and QA activities
• Review code and mentor junior engineers

Skills & Experience

• SC Clearance preferred
• Talend experience preferred
• Strong Oracle RDS and SQL experience
• GitLab/CI/CD experience
• Testing and production support experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
