Category Manager

Our client a Commodity Trading House, are looking to hire a Category Manager to join a newly created department in London.

The team will be supporting the building of procurement capability across the business with a particular for on IT.

For this role you will need the following:

• Around five years’ experience in procurement in a trading of financial services business.
• Proven experience developing and implementing category strategies
• Experience designing, implementing, or enhancing procurement processes, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Ability to deal with Senior stakeholders
• Previous experience negotiating with supplier
• CIPS qualifications or actively working towards.
