Location: Manchester – 2 days per week / Travel to London office once a month

We’re working with a leading UK organisation to recruit a Senior Procurement Manager to join its established Commercial Team.
This is a senior procurement role combining ICT / technology procurement with broader indirect procurement, managing strategic sourcing, tenders, framework competitions and commercial activity across a varied spend portfolio.

The Role
You’ll lead procurement projects from strategy through to contract implementation, including ITTs, tenders and mini-competitions under Framework Agreements.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll provide commercial advice, negotiate with suppliers, identify savings and process efficiencies, and ensure procurement activity is compliant with current public procurement legislation.
You’ll also support high-value and complex procurement projects across the wider Commercial Team.
Skills / experience:
- Strong Public Sector procurement experience, with knowledge / experience of PCR 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023
- Proven experience leading tenders, ITTs and mini-competitions under framework agreements
- Experience developing procurement strategies and delivering cost savings and commercial benefits
- Strong contract and risk management experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills
- MCIPS qualified or part-qualified
- Experience using eTendering platforms such as Jaggaer/BravoSolution, Atamis, In-Tend, Proactis, Delta eSourcing, ProContract or similar would be beneficial.
