Overview

In this role you will assess and manage weight management and other conditions safely via ZAVA’s asynchronous digital platform. You’ll review online consultations, determine suitability for GLP-1 therapies, and prescribe in line with guidelines, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance pathways and patient experience. You’ll practice medicine digitally, with autonomous clinical decision-making and minimal synchronous care where appropriate. This is a chance to shape digital healthcare delivery and impact patient outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Review asynchronous patient consultations focusing on weight management and other digital services
  • Assess suitability for GLP-1 therapies and other treatments per clinical guidelines and prescribing protocols
  • Request additional clinical information to support safe prescribing decisions
  • Prescribe medications safely in line with GMC guidance, UK legislation and ZAVA protocols
  • Monitor ongoing treatment through follow-ups and support patients throughout their treatment journey
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve clinical pathways and develop new services
  • Contribute to the development and review of clinical guidelines and prescribing pathways

Key requirements

  • Fluent French & English (written and verbal)
  • Based in the UK or Ireland with the right to work
  • GMC registration (UK) or IMC registration (Ireland/UK) with licence to practise
  • Open to GPs and Medical Doctors
  • Excellent understanding of evidence-based medicine and safe prescribing
  • Excellent written communication and compassionate patient communication
  • Ability to make autonomous clinical decisions in a remote, digital environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage workload efficiently
  • Comfortable using digital platforms and electronic clinical systems
