The role:

My client, an elite global Trading firm, are seeking an experienced SRE / Production Engineer to join their team.

The organisation are interested in Senior SRE / Production Engineers that stem from big tech firms.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring uptime and availability of high throughput, high performance systems
• Automating menial tasks wherever possible
• Solving technically complex technical issues using out of the box thinking
• Delivering new solutions based on repetitive issues
• Evangelising the SRE mindset across the firm
• Experienced SRE / Production Engineer, ideally from Big Tech
• Proficient in Python
• Comfortable with various software development tools and SDLC practices (Testing, Source Control, Build, CI/CD and so on)
• Extensive experience working on highly performant, tuned Linux systems
• Ideally stems from a Software Development background
• Ideally a degree within a relevant discipline (ideally Computer Science), or within the STEM field
