About the role
With exposure to the latest technologies,you’llspend this 2-year scheme developing skills that will support you to become one of our future engineering leaders.You will join a dynamic technology team focused on designing, building, testing, and supporting applications and systems that underpin customer and colleague experiences. This role offers exposure across software development, systems engineering and test engineeringtogiveyou the opportunity to develop a broad engineering skillset. You will work closely with experienced engineers to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient solutions to serve our customers and colleagues.You will develop a broad technical skillset while building your engineering career in a collaborative environment
Salary:£34,000Programme start date:6 September 2027
Office Attendance – Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to ouroffice,2 days per week for this position.
You will be responsible for
- Contributing to the design, development,testingand maintenance of both applications andcloud basedinfrastructure
- Supporting infrastructure, systemsmonitoring, incident management, and day-to-day operational activitiesacross the technology landscape
- Working on modern,scalableand best in classcross platform technologies
- Performing functional andnon functionaltesting for change initiativesto deliver robust technology solutions for our customers
- Working on all elements of engineeringprojectsanddeliveringatpace andscaleto our customers

- Astonginterest in howtechnologyworksat an enterprise level
- Excellentproblemsolvingskills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues systematicallywhere there are elements of unknown
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and personal development
- Youdon’tneed a Computer Science degree, but you will need some coding experience, whether from work, personalprojectsor self-teaching, along with a passion for solving problems.
- Testing ideas, working with others, and being open to learning are all important
