Assistant General Manager : High Volume Bar : London : A GBP 64,000 + Bonus

We’re looking for an ambitious Assistant General Manager to join a high:volume, fast:paced London hospitality venue.

This is a senior operational role for someone already performing at a strong AGM level and genuinely ready to become a General Manager in the near future. Youll work closely with an experienced leadership team, taking ownership of the day:to:day operation while developing the commercial and leadership skills required to run your own site.

The Role

• Lead, motivate and develop a large front:of:house team
• Take responsibility for service standards and the guest experience
• Support with sales, labour, stock control and overall profitability
• Recruit, train and retain an engaged, high:performing team
• Confidently lead the venue in the General Managers absence
• Help drive the business forward through energy, ideas and strong commercial awareness

About You

• Currently an experienced Assistant General Manager in a busy, high:volume venue
• Comfortable managing large teams and significant weekly sales
• Commercially strong, with a clear understanding of P and L and cost control
• A visible, hands:on leader who thrives in a lively environment
• Ambitious, driven and ready to step into a General Manager role soon

This is not a role for someone looking to remain an AGM long term. It is a genuine development opportunity for a future General Manager who wants greater responsibility, excellent earning potential and a clear route to running their own venue.
