Senior Platform & Backend Engineer — AWS, APIs, Data

Theia Insights in Cambridge, England, is hiring a mid‑career to senior Software Engineer for the Platform and Backend. You’ll own async REST endpoints with FastAPI, design scalable data access, and build MCP connectors to let customers query our datasets.

You’ll work with large tabular data using pandas, Parquet/Arrow and DuckDB, manage identity and access with AWS IAM, and deploy via CDK and CodePipeline. Occasional frontend work in TS/React may be involved.
