A growing building services team in Oxford is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join them on a diverse portfolio of projects across the heritage, transport, education, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, public and community sectors.
You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle – from initial surveys and feasibility through to design, delivery and handover – while developing your technical, project and leadership responsibilities.
What you’ll be responsible for
You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership across areas including:
- Leading project surveys and feasibility studies
- Preparing specifications and technical documentation
- Supporting on-site supervision and contract administration
- Managing electrical services installations
- Overseeing engineers and technicians
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
- Managing project workflows and key milestones
- Supporting bids, fee proposals and project financial management as you progress
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer who is ready to take on more responsibility and influence.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience mentoring or managing junior engineers
- Experience across different sectors
- Strong electrical design software and AutoCAD experience
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Full driving licence and access to your own transport
- Revit / design and modelling experience is desirable, but training will be provided where required.
