Role & ResponsibilitiesThe role is working Client side on a large new exciting onshore energy project.
n
Responsible for monitoring Technical Safety and Loss Prevention activities of the FEED contractor on behalf of the Client.
n
Reviewing design and documentation provided by the FEED contractor to ensure compliance with all relevant Safety standards.
n
Co-ordinating with other disciplines to ensure coherent approach by the FEED contractor to all technical safety related matters.
n
Supporting Risk Analysis of the FEED deliverables.
n
Acting as main Client point of contact for technical queries and clarifications.
n
Monitoring delivery of HSE related philosophies.
n
Checking the quality of subcontractor design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications.
n
Analyzing contractors RAM studies for any deviations or anomalies.
n
Participate in relevant meetings, such as HAZID, Design Reviews, Model Reviews.
n
Supporting the vendor management and selection process during the FEED stage.
n
Reporting to the Engineering Manager on FEED contractor performance. Key Skills & KnowledgeMust be Degree qualified in relevant discipline.
n
Chartered status highly advantageous though not essential.
n
Experience of Technical Safety/Loss Prevention within relevant industries (e.g. energy. oil and gas, petrochemicals, etc.)Must have previous experience either working Client side or in a PMC role.
