Role profileBuilding on our continued success, our innovative andn growing Osborne Clarke Solutions (OCS) team is looking for an Innovation Solutionsn Architect, known internally as a Solutions Manager, to join us in Bristol orn London.

This role will have a primary focus on exploring andn piloting the use of AI technologies, data integrations, orchestration layersn and emerging platforms to enhance the delivery of legal services, workingn closely with ITS, Change, and Risk & Compliance teams to pursue better waysn of working. The role carries a strong R&D focus, collaborating with OCS andn ITS leads to identify, evaluate and implement new AI tools, data integrationn solutions (including Boomi and MCPs), and to explore how platforms such as PowerAppsn and CoPilot can be leveraged within our existing technology stack. We currently operate a hybrid working model, enabling us ton benefit from both home and office working.

The TeamOsborne Clarke's Solutions team plays a crucial role inn helping clients explore exactly how they would like legal and related servicesn to be delivered to maximise the value to their businesses. The team is clientn led, developing new products and services to deliver existing services better,n and to deliver entirely new services to meet growing client needs. The teamn operates out of the UK and Europe, with teams of ex-lawyers, and technologistsn across locations.

Our Solutions programme has two key goals. First, to maken sure we're responding to client demands for greater value, efficiency andn certainty from their lawyers, whilst maintaining the highest quality. Secondly,n in helping us bring innovative ideas to the delivery of our, or our clients',n current and new, services. A significant and growing part of this innovationn involves researching, piloting and integrating AI technologies to transform hown we deliver legal services across the firm.

Key Role Responsibilities: AI-Driven Innovation & R&D: Spearhead initiatives ton explore, pilot and integrate existing and new AI technologies within the firm,n working in close collaboration with ITS, Change, and Risk & Compliancen teams. Beyond AI, the role will focus on exploring data integrationn opportunities using platforms such as Boomi, investigating the potential ofn Model Context Protocols (MCPs) and orchestration layers, and developing an broader awareness of how tools such as PowerApps and CoPilot can be leveragedn into our existing platforms including HighQ, Legora and ContractExpress. Engagen with stakeholders across these functions to identify and understand businessn needs and use cases for AI, data integrations, orchestration layers andn platform enhancements in legal service delivery. Research, evaluate and pilotn new tools and initiatives to pursue better ways of working, enhance servicen delivery and improve operational efficiency. This involves staying abreast ofn the latest advancements in AI and adjacent technologies, conducting thoroughn research and proof-of-concept exercises, and fostering a culture of innovationn and experimentation. Working alongside OCS and ITS leads, you will help guiden the firm through the transformative potential of these technologies, ensuringn that solutions are not only cutting-edge but also practical, scalable andn impactful.

Promotion of OC Solutions: Regular engagement andn interaction with, and demonstrations to, OC colleagues regarding the solutionsn available through OC Solutions; supporting the production of case studies andn other marketing material and speaking at relevant events and conferences.

Role Outline: AI, Data & Platform Innovation: Working with OCS and ITSn leads, research, evaluate and pilot new AI tools, data integration solutionsn (including Boomi and MCPs), orchestration layers, and platform capabilitiesn (including PowerApps and CoPilot) to explore how these technologies can enhancen the delivery of legal services and integrate with existing tools such as HighQ,n Legora and ContractExpress. Collaborate with ITS, Change, and Risk &n Compliance teams to identify use cases, run proof-of-concept pilots, and driven adoption of successful solutions across the firm.

Champion cross-functional piloting initiatives, coordinatingn with ITS, Change, and Risk & Compliance stakeholders to test and iterate onn new AI-driven ways of working, data integration approaches and platformn enhancements, and to build the business case for wider rollout.

Oversee and manage the delivery of solutions to client andn OC teams, enabling the adoption of the solutions.

n

Manage and contribute to the build of the resultingn solutions through configuration of the OC technology stack, use of OCS' codingn tools, and the development of automated documents for client and/or OC use.

n

Ensure solutions are thoroughly tested (incl with clients),n and planning/managing a roadmap of iterative changes and improvements to then solutions.

n

Actively participate in the team's product developmentn process, including client feedback sessions.

At all times act as a brand ambassador for Osborne Clarken Solutions.

We are looking for: As well as having an interest in technology, disruption andn problem solving, we need someone who has: AI & Technology Experience: Demonstrated experience inn researching, evaluating and piloting AI technologies and data integrationn platforms to solve business problems, with the ability to workn cross-functionally across technology, change and compliance teams. Familiarity with integration tools (e.g. Boomi), MCPs,n orchestration layers, or low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. PowerApps, CoPilot)Experience in a law firm or professional servicesn environment. Proven experience of working with workflow and automationn technology.

Evidence of picking up new technologies and becoming an subject matter expert in them.

Evidence of senior stakeholder management skills. Capable of quickly picking up and understanding newn technologies. Comfortable engaging with people and leading client-facingn conversations.
