Site Manager

Overview

As a Site Manager, you will lead MEICA-focused on-site delivery for water projects, acting as the day-to-day owner alongside the Project Manager. You’ll drive the site programme, manage budgets, and uphold safety and quality standards, reporting to the Construction Manager. The role sits at the intersection of operations and client liaison, ensuring successful project delivery and seamless handover to commissioning. Responsibilities

• Lead on-site delivery across MEICA projects, aligning with Project Manager on budget and schedule
• Manage site programme to meet milestones and mitigate delays
• Control costs, optimize resources, and manage variations
• Coordinate subcontractors and internal labor across mechanical, electrical, and ICA streams
• Procure on-site materials and equipment per timeline
• Oversee site Health & Safety to maintain CDM compliance and a proactive safety culture
• Maintain Quality Management System on-site, perform inspections, and sign off installations
• Identify defects or non-conformances and ensure timely resolution prior to handover

Key requirements

• Proven experience as Site Agent or project manager in MEICA water projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, CDM 2015, and WIMES
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client/stakeholder management
• Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS Black Card)
• Essential: IOSH or relevant H&S qualification; SMSTS; First Aid at Work; site management experience in a relevant industry
