Overview

In this role you will join a respected Employment team to handle high-value matters for employers and senior employees across public and private sectors. You’ll work on both contentious and non-contentious issues, support HR advisory work, and participate in corporate transactions involving employment considerations. You will manage your own caseload from day one while collaborating with senior colleagues to deliver practical, client-focused solutions. Responsibilities

  • Advise on complex employment issues for a range of clients, including executives and employers
  • Provide day-to-day HR advisory support across sectors
  • Support employment aspects of corporate transactions
  • Run Employment Tribunal and County Court/Restrictive Covenant litigation files
  • Own your caseload from the outset and collaborate with senior team members on a broad spectrum of work

Key requirements

  • 3-6 years PQE in employment law
  • Solid experience advising on employment matters, preferably employer-focused
  • Hands-on experience managing Employment Tribunal and County Court litigation
  • Strong communication skills and client-focused professionalism
  • Resilience under pressure and commercial judgement to achieve outcomes
  • Ability to build long-lasting client relationships
