Responsibilities

  • Advise on UK statutory residence, long-term residence and tax regimes for private clients
  • Create, structure, and UK-tax trusts and family investment companies
  • Manage cross-border estates, draft Wills, and advise on succession and governance
  • Provide complex tax and succession planning for international affairs
  • Collaborate with senior advisers and partners on high-value matters

Key requirements

  • 4+ years’ PQE (SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer)
  • Strong experience in international tax and succession planning
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Able to manage a varied workload effectively
  • Self-motivation, commercial awareness, and willingness to learn
  • Experience supervising or developing junior colleagues
  • STEP qualification (desirable but not essential)
