Compliance Manager

Overview

In this Compliance role in Klarna’s London office, you will interpret UK regulations, translate them into actionable guidelines, and support businesses across the product lifecycle. You work independently while coordinating with cross-border teams to ensure regulatory alignment. You’ll oversee governance, deliver risk analyses, and share regulatory knowledge to raise competence. This role offers impact across product development and regulatory engagement in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory engagement and prepare regulatory notifications and reports
• Create and update guidelines, policies, and routines within compliance
• Monitor UK regulatory developments and support implementation
• Advise the business on compliance-related matters
• Share knowledge and provide training on regulatory requirements
• Oversee adherence to UK regulations and governance
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks and prepare risk analyses
• Participate in development projects for new products and services
• Prepare and maintain compliance plans
• Coordinate internal and external reports

Key requirements

• 2–6 years in financial services
• strong interest in compliance
• fluency in English (spoken and written)
