Overview

In this role you will advise on major development, redevelopment and infrastructure projects across the UK. You will draft and negotiate construction contracts and related documents, and collaborate with real estate, planning, banking and corporate teams on large-scale projects. You will manage your own caseload with supervision and assist senior lawyers on high-value matters. Responsibilities

  • Advising on major development, redevelopment and infrastructure projects
  • Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments, warranties and security documents
  • Working with real estate, planning, banking and corporate teams on large-scale projects
  • Supporting developers, funders, investors and occupiers on complex construction arrangements
  • Advising on UK and international projects across commercial, residential and mixed-use schemes
  • Managing own caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Supporting senior lawyers on high-value and strategic matters

Key requirements

  • 4+ years PQE in transactional construction
  • Strong experience advising on built environment and real estate related construction matters
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and technical skills
  • Ability to manage a varied and complex workload
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative, proactive and commercially minded approach
  • Qualification as an SRA registered solicitor
