Senior Lecturer – Occupational Therapy

Overview

In this role you will teach and support students across both BSc (Hons) and MSc Occupational Therapy, contributing to high-quality education within the School of Health. You will work with a collaborative, friendly team to integrate education and research that can transform health care. You will remain professionally active, leveraging clinical experience and evidence-based practice to inform teaching across pre- and post-registration courses. This is a full-time, permanent position with possible job sharing or part-time arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support students across BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy and pre-registration MSc Occupational Therapy
• Contribute to curriculum delivery and academic development
• Engage in research activity and maintain professional profile
• Mentor and support colleagues and students within a collegiate team
• Participate in School and Centre for Learning & Teaching development activities
• Collaborate with colleagues across higher education and health services

Key requirements

• Registered Occupational Therapist
• Current experience in academia or recent experience as evidence-based practitioner
• Teaching experience across pre- and post-registration courses
• Research-active with a professional profile
• Experience of working in higher education is desirable
