Overview

In this role you shape the UK & Ireland Customer Data Management strategy, aligning market insight, data capabilities and commercial priorities to drive growth. You will collaborate across strategy, product, data, and operations to define opportunities, craft propositions, and support sales with clear value narratives. You’ll translate customer and regulatory needs into actionable requirements, balancing near-term wins with long-term data-driven growth. This is a chance to impact how we manage customer data at scale and across regulated markets.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the UK & Ireland strategy for Customer Data Management, including priority markets, needs, growth opportunities and competitive positioning
  • Leverage customer, market, regulatory and competitor insight to inform strategic choices and investment priorities
  • Shape compelling customer propositions with clear positioning, packaging and commercial models
  • Translate customer and market needs into strategic requirements for product, data, technology and operations
  • Develop business cases for new and enhanced capabilities balancing immediate opportunities with long-term growth
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve customer outcomes and support scalable data solutions and services
  • Establish meaningful measures of customer value and proposition effectiveness
  • Support Sales, Pre-Sales and Marketing with value propositions, market insight and sector-specific narratives

Key requirements

  • Significant experience in consumer data, data quality, master data management, identity resolution, data governance or related data-driven market
  • Strong strategic and commercial judgement with experience in market strategy, proposition development or product strategy
  • Ability to translate complex customer challenges into clear business, data and technology priorities
  • Track record of leading cross-functional change in a matrixed organisation
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including confidence to work with senior leaders and customers
  • Excellent analytical skills combining quantitative evidence with customer and market insight
  • Ability to explain complex data concepts in clear, commercially relevant language
