Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis for Growth & Mid Market Technology transactions across EMEA, engaging with front line teams on management calls
- Monitor and review existing GMMT portfolio transactions, making informed credit recommendations to senior management
- Prepare detailed statistics, graphs, tables, and narratives for senior leadership on portfolio quality and risks
- Collaborate with Front Line GMMT team to understand trends in the innovation economy and inform credit strategy development
- Participate in ad-hoc projects to refine risk criteria or policy and support growth initiatives
- Draft reports for Tokyo Head Office and European Headquarters ensuring clear, accurate credit committee materials
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with internal policies and established procedures
- Support the Head of GMMT Credit EMEA by advancing risk frameworks, appetite settings, and monitoring systems
- Attend customer meetings with front line teams to understand client needs and foster cross-department relationships
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on continuous learning and mutual success
Key requirements
- Experience in financial services with leveraged finance or lending to technology-driven sectors
- Strong credit assessment and risk management knowledge for structured finance products
- Proven ability to manage regulatory audits with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence at senior levels
- Calm under pressure with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Commitment to continuous learning and collaborative work style
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced qualifications like Master’s, CFA, or accounting credentials are advantageous
