Assistant Project Manager

Overview

In this role you support delivery of engineering and capital projects within Severn Trent’s Capital Delivery team, contributing to reliable essential services for millions of customers. You will coordinate project plans, risks, budgets and progress reporting, while building strong relationships with internal teams, contractors and suppliers. You’ll develop in a career-focused environment that values collaboration, safety and value for communities and the environment. This position offers variety across Water, Waste and Infrastructure programmes and a clear pathway into project management.

Key requirements

• Experience delivering engineering, operational, construction or capital projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing project plans, risks, budgets and reporting
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams, contractors and suppliers
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project controls
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders
• Full UK driving licence
