Overview

In this role, you will embed a culture of financial crime risk awareness within the Atos BPS business account and contribute to the risk management operating model, projects, and processes. You will advise on regulatory compliance, fraud risk, and control techniques while guiding teams across sites. You will help shape financial crime strategy and provide expert input for business initiatives and investigations. This position offers influence across stakeholders and the opportunity to improve governance in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and challenge of the embedded Financial Crime framework and tools to support regulatory compliance and risk management
  • Provide advice to projects and systems developments on financial crime risk, processes and controls
  • Contribute to development of the Financial Crime strategy for business units
  • Offer financial crime guidance for initiatives, transactions and investigations to ensure compliance
  • Identify and escalate potential financial crime risks and support remediation within risk appetite
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other financial crime team members within Atos BTS

Key requirements

  • Experience in a regulated industry, preferably Life & Pensions
  • Knowledge of financial crime policy, legislation and regulations (e.g., JMLSG, CT Fin & Proceeds of Crime)
  • Pragmatic problem solving within regulatory frameworks
  • Commercial awareness, outsourcing, and client engagement
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects
  • Strong financial crime management/oversight experience
  • Understanding of risk operating environment, policies and protocols
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • SC clearance eligibility is essential
