Overview

Senior Manager leads the development and delivery of the Group’s Financial Crime Risk Assessment capability within the 2LoD. You will oversee enterprise-wide risk assessments across AML, sanctions and fraud, and partner with senior stakeholders to strengthen risk management and regulatory compliance. The role combines leadership with analytical insight and data-driven decision making to shape risk-based approaches. Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide financial crime risk assessments
  • Lead customer risk assessment methodologies
  • Lead third-party risk assessment methodologies
  • Provide oversight, challenge and insight to strengthen financial crime risk management
  • Support regulatory compliance activities
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business
  • Translate data into informative insights to influence risk strategies
  • Drive financial crime transformation initiatives
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and uphold industry best practices

Key requirements

  • Significant Financial Crime experience in banking or a regulated environment
  • Strong expertise in financial crime risk assessments
  • Knowledge of AML, sanctions and fraud risk management
  • Leadership experience in a 2nd line risk or oversight function
  • Senior stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Experience using data, analytics and MI to support risk-based decisions
  • Knowledge of enterprise-wide risk assessment methodologies
  • Familiarity with customer and third-party risk frameworks
  • Experience with financial crime transformation activities
  • Regulatory engagement and industry best practice
