Overview

As a Senior/Managing Associate in Employment law, you will handle high‑quality, complex cases within a nationally recognized team. You will support employers on disciplinaries, restructures, TUPE, and post‑termination covenants, guiding corporate deals and outsourcing matters. You’ll lead significant Employment Tribunal work and mentor junior lawyers while contributing to business development. Responsibilities

  • Lead complex Employment Tribunal claims (primarily for Respondents)
  • Advise employers on disciplinaries, grievances, restructures, and redundancies
  • Provide employment law support on TUPE, corporate deals, and outsourcing contracts
  • Enforce post‑termination restrictive covenants
  • Draft employment contracts, consultancy agreements, settlement agreements, and related documentation
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues on business development strategy
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members

Key requirements

  • At least 5 years’ PQE in employment law
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex workloads and meet deadlines
  • Client-focused approach and relationship-building experience
  • Experience supervising or managing junior lawyers
