As Data Lead for the Customer Domain, you will align data strategy with business goals, acting as the trusted advisor to senior Customer leadership. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams to translate challenges into data products and measurable outcomes, shaping the customer data agenda within a domain-led operating model. You’ll drive value from data, improve customer experiences, and help the business become more data-driven. Responsibilities
- Define and own the Customer domain data roadmap aligned with strategy and transformation priorities
- Act as trusted data advisor to senior Customer leadership
- Translate business challenges into data products, analytics solutions and delivery priorities
- Manage and prioritise a portfolio of data initiatives with clear outcomes and value
- Coordinate multidisciplinary delivery teams including analysts, engineers, architects and data scientists
- Drive adoption of data products and track value realization
- Champion data governance and data quality across the Customer domain
- Identify dependencies, influence stakeholders and navigate competing priorities
- Build data maturity across the business and empower data owners
- Contribute to wider Data and Analytics community and drive consistency across domains
Key requirements
- Significant experience in data and analytics within a complex, business-facing environment
- Track record of delivering measurable business value through data initiatives
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions at leadership level
- Strong capability in shaping strategy while coordinating delivery across matrixed teams
- Experience working with customer data, customer experience, digital products, CRM or lifecycle marketing
- Knowledge of customer identity, segmentation, personalisation, consent management and customer engagement
- Understanding of modern data platforms such as Databricks and cloud technologies including Azure, AWS or GCP
- Familiarity with data product thinking, governance frameworks and modern operating models
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
