Overview

In this role you will lead a high-quality residential property caseload within a growing Real Estate team. You will handle sale and purchase transactions, re-mortgages, and complex high net worth matters, ensuring regulatory compliance and client service excellence. You will collaborate with clients, lenders, and brokers while supporting junior colleagues and shaping departmental growth. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to contribute to strategic development in a purpose-driven firm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
  • Handle freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and shared ownership
  • Coordinate with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on property law changes
  • Monitor WIP, disbursements, and matter profitability
  • Negotiate and resolve issues throughout conveyancing
  • Supervise and support junior team members
  • Contribute to departmental growth, efficiency, and strategy
  • Participate in marketing, networking, and business development
  • Utilise AI tools to enhance efficiency and client service

Key requirements

  • Strong experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
  • Proven experience working with High Net Worth clients and complex property matters
  • Solid knowledge of conveyancing processes, property law, and relevant legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
  • IT proficiency including case management systems and legal research tools
  • Track record in marketing, networking, and maintaining an online professional presence
  • Experience supervising or delegating work (desirable)
