Overview
In this role you will shape pricing data capabilities to support actuarial analyses and reporting. You will develop data assets, run essential data processes, and respond to data queries while creating automated reports in collaboration with the CUO function. The role sits within a transformation-driven insurance environment that values data quality and governance. You will work cross-functionally to deliver timely, transparent insights that influence pricing decisions and business outcomes. This is a hands-on position with a clear impact on pricing accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Deliver quality data for actuarial analysis and reporting, including clear assumptions and observations.
- Specify and document data services and processes.
- Develop data assets to improve data quality and service for pricing use.
- Solve strategic data problems using best-in-class techniques, guiding less experienced colleagues.
- Build and maintain partnerships across CUO and the wider business.
- Adhere to internal policies, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Key requirements
- Actuarial or relevant pricing experience
- Strong technology, numeracy and mathematical skills (Excel, Emblem, Radar, VBA, R)
- Capability in delivering data to support the wider Pricing function
- Experience preparing large and complex datasets for analysis, preferably in General Insurance
- Ability to challenge standard thinking
- Ability to prioritise and keep stakeholders updated
- Ability to align with Group priorities and standards
