Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate structural design and delivery across market sectors
- Prepare and review structural analysis, calculations, design reports, specifications and engineering documents
- Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards, NCC/BCA, and client requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to achieve practical, efficient, and sustainable outcomes
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and foster a learning culture
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience in structural engineering with a buildingStructures focus
- Experience delivering structural design projects in a consulting environment
- Proficiency in SpaceGass, ETABS, RAPT, Structural Toolkit
- Experience with SAP2000, RAM, IdeaStatiCa, and Grasshopper (favourable)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
