Overview
As an Intelligence Analyst at DWF, you will lead investigations across our Insurance and Commercial Practice Groups, translating complex data into evidence-based insights. You will analyse internal and external sources to identify fraud and risk indicators, producing clear intelligence reports to support investigations, litigation strategy, and decision-making. You will collaborate with clients, insurers and stakeholders while ensuring GDPR compliance. The role offers hybrid working from Manchester or Liverpool and a chance to impact investigations across diverse clients.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth investigations into individuals, companies, and associated entities
- Interrogate internal and external databases and intelligence systems
- Identify patterns, trends, and risk indicators within complex datasets
- Apply analytical techniques based on investigation requirements
- Adapt investigations in line with litigation strategy
- Produce high-quality intelligence reports with findings and recommendations
- Manage workload to meet deadlines and targets
- Collaborate within the investigative team
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and external stakeholders
- Ensure GDPR compliance and secure data handling
Key requirements
- At least one year’s experience in an analytical, investigative or intelligence-based role
- Well-developed analytical approach to interpret complex information and produce evidence-based findings
- Comfortable with digital tools and systems, including databases and search platforms, plus good IT skills
- Clear and effective written communication for well-structured reports
- Independent working style and ability to manage competing priorities
