Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

In this role you will engineer and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for data and AI platforms, focusing on cost-effective, scalable solutions. You will drive automation and self-service capabilities within AWS, shaping a resilient data platform that supports a first-class customer experience. You’ll work with architecture teams to translate designs into secure cloud solutions and promote platform-wide engineering standards. This role offers impact by advancing the bank’s AWS data platform and Platform-as-a-Product initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code patterns and CI/CD pipelines across AWS
• Support secure, scalable data platform services using S3, Glue, Lake Formation and SageMaker Unified Studio
• Translate designs into reusable cloud platform solutions with architecture teams
• Review deployment documentation and establish base builds for development environments
• Create and execute technical test plans and runbooks for system deliveries
• Build UAT environments and manage infrastructure updates during migrations
• Promote engineering standards and Platform-as-a-Product principles across multiple feature teams

Key requirements

• Infrastructure engineering experience
• Terraform or similar IaC tool experience
• Hands-on AWS experience with S3, Glue, Lake Formation, SageMaker Unified Studio
• Understanding of data governance, security, and access management in cloud environments
• Ability to design and implement secure, reusable self-service platform capabilities
• Experience contributing to roadmaps, working with third parties, and delivering on timelines
