Overview

In this role you will advise on UK, EU and international trade mark matters, helping clients protect and grow their brands. You will manage prosecutions and global portfolios while handling oppositions, invalidities and revocation actions, and you will support enforcement and online brand protection initiatives. You’ll work with partners across the IP practice to deliver commercially focused advice to high-profile clients. Responsibilities

  • Advise on UK, EU and international trade mark matters
  • Develop brand clearance and protection strategies
  • Manage trade mark prosecution and global portfolios
  • Handle contentious matters such as oppositions, invalidity and revocation
  • Support enforcement work and online brand protection programmes
  • Collaborate with partners across the IP practice to deliver commercially focused advice

Key requirements

  • 1–6 years’ PQE as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney
  • Proven experience advising on UK and EU trade mark matters
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple portfolios
  • Commercial, pragmatic client service orientation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
