Overview
As Contract Specialist you ensure efficient, compliant contract handling for UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, partnering with sales, operations, procurement, and leadership to enable timely deal execution. Your work supports revenue growth while managing risk through playbooks and approved frameworks. You’ll maintain contract records and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate customer, vendor, confidentiality, and related agreements
- Manage contract requests end-to-end from intake to execution
- Support master service agreements, statements of work, amendments, and procurement contracts
- Identify contractual risks and escalate for attorney review when needed
- Apply contract playbooks and approved risk frameworks for compliance and efficiency
- Collaborate with business development to accelerate revenue opportunities
- Coordinate with operations, quality, finance, procurement, and risk management
- Maintain contract records in CLM systems (Icertis)
- Support contract reporting and process improvement initiatives
- Work autonomously with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
- Assist with customer RFPs and commercial proposals
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2–4 years in commercial contract management, contract administration, procurement contracting, paralegal, or related experience
- Proven experience negotiating commercial services agreements
- Strong drafting and redlining skills
- Experience using CLM systems preferred
- Experience supporting commercial contract reviews in a large organization preferred
- Background in healthcare, logistics, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals preferred
