Overview
In this role you will drive revenue growth and long-term value for Sage Intacct customers by building trusted relationships with mid-market and strategic clients. You will act as a commercial advisor, lead renewal and ARR protection, and identify upsell opportunities to maximise value realization. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to deliver measurable outcomes while scaling customer adoption. This is a hybrid role based in Newcastle with a clear path for career development and cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities
- Drive incremental revenue through upsell, cross-sell, and add-on opportunities
- Own commercial relationships with Sage Intacct accounts, engaging senior stakeholders incl. CFOs
- Develop and execute strategic account success plans aligned to customer goals
- Lead renewals, negotiate contracts, protect and grow ARR
- Identify and mitigate churn and contraction risks
- Maintain accurate CRM data, track deal progression and revenue forecasts
- Analyse pipeline health and performance across KPIs (conversion, bookings, retention, expansion ARR, churn, velocity)
- Champion customer success and adoption throughout lifecycle from implementation to maturity
- Act as voice of the customer, feeding insights to Product, Commercial, Risk, and other teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
- Promote customer engagement, advocacy, and participation in Sage programmes and communities
Key requirements
- Proven experience in account management, customer success, or commercial ownership
- Ability to identify, qualify, and progress upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Experience managing renewals, including negotiation and contract execution
- Confidence in building accurate revenue forecasts
- Strong CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce or equivalent)
- Ability to maintain pipeline data and analyse performance trends
- Comfort interpreting SaaS metrics like retention, expansion ARR, churn, and sales cycle performance
- Experience developing and executing customer success or account plans
- Understanding of SaaS customer lifecycles — onboarding, adoption, value realisation, and retention
- Ability to identify and mitigate risk drivers such as low adoption or stakeholder change
