Senior 5G RAN Performance Engineer

Overview

In this role you will optimize and monitor 5G RAN performance to enhance network quality and customer experience. You will work within a mobile network programme, focusing on 5G SA and VoNR, analysing KPIs and coordinating with OSS tools and vendor environments. Your efforts will drive performance improvements across live networks and impact end-user experience. This is a cross-vendor, performance-focused role with a strong emphasis on data-driven optimisation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise 5G network performance across live network environments
• Monitor and improve accessibility, retainability, mobility, integrity and throughput KPIs
• Investigate performance trends and identify optimisation opportunities
• Support VoNR and 5G SA performance activities
• Perform parameter optimisation and feature tuning
• Work closely with Ericsson and Nokia network environments
• Deliver recommendations to enhance customer experience and network quality

Key requirements

• Strong 5G RAN Performance and Optimisation experience
• Hands-on experience with 5G SA and VoNR
• Experience using Ericsson ENM, Nokia NetAct or similar OSS tools
• Strong KPI analysis and performance reporting skills
• Proven experience delivering network performance improvements
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
