Overview

In this role you will join a growing Employment Law team to handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters for employees and employers. You will advise on settlement terms, draft contracts and policies, and support clients with HR guidance within a collaborative, growth-focused firm. Your work will span from instruction to resolution, maintaining high-quality case handling and compliance with internal processes. Responsibilities

  • Advise on settlement agreements and negotiate terms
  • Draft employment contracts, handbooks, and workplace policies
  • Handle both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Provide clear, practical advice to employees and employers
  • Ensure efficient, high-quality case handling in line with processes
  • Manage a varied caseload from instruction to conclusion

Key requirements

  • Previous experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment work (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and tribunal procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, organized approach to caseload management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines (KPIs/SLAs)
  • Strong client care and collaborative working style
  • Understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct
