Overview

In this field-based role, you will maintain and service Renal lab equipment to support life-sustaining dialysis in healthcare settings. You’ll work on-site with a cross-functional team to ensure system reliability, offer technical and commercial support, and contribute to continuous product improvement. The role combines hands-on maintenance with client-facing responsibilities, within Veolia’s environmental and healthcare portfolio. Responsibilities

  • On-site preventative and corrective maintenance, including commissioning and upgrades
  • Provide after-sales technical and commercial support to clients
  • Strengthen client relationships and advise on system reliability and productivity
  • Troubleshoot faults to keep equipment running smoothly
  • Participate in an on-call rota to support clients as needed

Key requirements

  • Experience as a Service Engineer in Healthcare/Scientific market
  • Driving licence (full UK)
  • NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or pursuing it (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Punctual and professional with focus on customer satisfaction

  • Professionalism and customer focus
  • Knowledge of water treatment or wastewater plants (desirable)
  • Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical engineering fundamentals
