Senior Analytics Engineer (London)

Overview

As Senior Analytics Engineer, you will model and transform data to deliver clean, reliable datasets for commercial and growth stakeholders. You will build and maintain ELT pipelines and dbt models across diverse sources, enabling accurate budgeting, revenue forecasts and sales metrics. You’ll work with product, engineering and analytics peers to influence feature decisions and improve data accessibility. This role offers autonomy in a fast-paced environment with a clear impact on revenue growth and product operations. You will join a scaling business at Fresha, contributing to data-driven decision making and strategic GTM initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dimensional data models from diverse sources
• Improve model performance and data accessibility
• Establish ELT pipelines for commercial and marketing metrics
• Advise product teams on analytical implications of feature releases
• Coach engineers and analysts to sustain a long-term codebase
• Analyze feature performance and support product operations via queries and dashboards
• Create comprehensive data documentation to standardize understanding

Key requirements

• Strong SQL skills and solid data modeling understanding
• Extensive experience with mature dbt projects
• Knowledge of data warehousing, cost, security and best practices
• Exposure to streaming and batch data ingestion systems
• Track record of improving data model performance and usability
• Ability to translate business needs into data pipelines for non-technical users
