Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of residential property matters (sales, purchases, transfers of equity, lease extensions) from exchange to completion
- Provide expert legal advice on conveyancing and property law
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on property law developments
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
- Navigate negotiations and resolve issues during transactions
- Ensure compliance with legislation and professional standards
- Attend client meetings in-office or externally as required
- Collaborate within the Real Estate Team and wider firm
- Maintain CPD and develop legal knowledge
- Participate in team meetings, marketing initiatives, and business development
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or experienced Conveyancer
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property law
- Proven experience managing a full caseload from exchange to completion
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage a high volume caseload efficiently
