Director, Head of Billing – Services

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end pricing and billing for Citi’s Services, shaping standardized processes across products and regions. You’ll partner with Product, Operations, Technology, and Sales to implement a cohesive billing framework and reduce fragmentation. You’ll drive analytics, price governance, and risk controls while scaling common platforms and a central invoicing data hub. This is a strategic role at Citi’s Platform and Data Services that directly impacts profitability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify and review all billing processes for Services to spot strengths and weaknesses
• Standardize and consolidate billing platforms and tooling across Services
• Develop and execute a strategy for improvement and risk remediation with timelines and investment
• Create a standard billing lifecycle framework with role-specific customization
• Oversee horizontal billing activities with Product, Operations, Technology, and Sales
• Roll out common billing platforms across targeted markets
• Identify risks in billing processes with strategic solutions and compensating controls
• Collaborate with the Head of Pricing, PBS and global leads to ensure alignment
• Define analytics, tools, and initiatives to address billing performance and revenue opportunities
• Implement a central invoices/charges database for robust price analytics and benchmarking
• Maintain and enhance the Client Profitability Tool

Key requirements

• Experience leading complex pricing execution and strategy in Services
• Knowledge of Payments & Receivables, Investor, and Issuer products and pricing models
• Strong cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management
• Strategic thinker with understanding of Treasury & Trade Solutions products
• Excellent communication and executive presence; comfort presenting to senior leadership
• Influence to manage stakeholders and drive execution
• Strong execution, project management, and attention to detail
• Analytical solving and data analytics familiarity
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Master’s a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel advanced, PowerPoint proficient)
