Legal Director or Partner – Residential Property-Bristol-Hybrid

Overview

In this role you lead the Bristol residential property team and shape local strategy within the firm’s culture. You will drive growth through existing relationships and new connections, building a sustainable regional practice. You’ll manage and develop the team across all levels while advising high-value clients on complex conveyancing matters. The position combines client delivery with strategic leadership, balancing service quality with compliance and commercial performance. Responsibilities

• Lead the Bristol residential property team, shape local strategy, foster collaboration, and champion firm culture and values
• Drive business growth via existing relationships and new connections; diversify work streams and scale the regional practice
• Manage and develop the team across recruitment, performance, compliance, financial management, and daily operations
• Advise diverse clients on high-value residential property matters and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers and property professionals
• Act as a visible ambassador for the firm and uphold high standards of client service and compliance

Key requirements

• Recognised residential property expert with significant PQE
• Strong market profile or following
• Proven leadership and business development skills
