Overview

As EPMS/PMS Lead in our Data Centre MEP team, you drive design and delivery of power monitoring and control systems for hyperscale and co-location facilities. You’ll collaborate across engineers, architects, and clients to meet performance, compliance, and sustainability goals. You’ll manage feasibility, specifications, tendering, and testing, shaping smart building solutions. This role offers hands-on leadership in a globally connected practice with opportunities to influence data centre design and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and oversee contractor implementation of EPMS/PMS across architectures to meet client and regulatory needs
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels and provide expert guidance
  • Manage end-to-end projects including feasibility, specifications, tender management, cost analysis, and progress reporting
  • Conduct system surveys, assessments, FAT/SAT testing, and deliver actionable client recommendations
  • Mentor and develop EPMS/PMS team and contribute to innovation in smart building tech
  • Promote SH&E best practices and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Support integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems using open communication standards
  • Occasional national travel to project sites and offices, with hybrid/remote work arrangements
  • Possess client-facing communication and leadership capabilities
  • Require security clearance eligibility for applicable projects

Key requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering (building services bias preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Member of IET or CIBSE; CEng accreditation or progression toward it
  • Proven track record leading EPMS and controls designs across varying architectures and project scales
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate across disciplines
  • Postgraduate experience in building services design with focus on data centres
  • Forward-thinking, client-facing, capable of liaising with managers and contractors
  • Familiar with regulations, standards, and RIBA stages; capable of site supervision and feasibility reporting
  • Full clean driving license and willingness to travel; passport for international travel
